A message to Life Scouts from The Chief Scout Executive
The Town of Lynnfield, Massachusetts is located approximately 12 miles north of Boston. Its residents enjoy the small town feeling while within a short commute of Boston's cultural and employment opportunities.
Lynnfield is a traditional New England residential community, which has an open town meeting form of government, headed by a three-member Board of Selectmen. Originally a part of Lynn and known as "Lynn End", Lynnfield, was established as a district July 3, 1782, and incorporated as a town Feb 28, 1814.
The Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, sponsors Lynnfield Troop 48 under a charter from the Boy Scouts of America. We belong to the Aquila District of the Yankee Clipper Council which is part of the Northeast Region. Our meetings are on Mondays in Todd Hall of the Church, which is at 5 Summer Street in the corner of Main Street in Lynnfield. For additional information email us.
