Troop 48 and the new scouts went to Hart Park at campground 7 to prepare for camporee. Everyone enjoyed this trip and the scouts were laughing as hard as they could and screaming like mad men. We learned about orienteering, animal tracking, first aid and knots and lashes. On Sunday morning, all the patrols had to cook a “Flap Jacks” (big pancakes) breakfast. Everyone had a chance to flip the pancakes.
It was good to see everybody again, especially the new scouts from Pack 48. We were very impressed by their respect.
